Asman Airlines is set to bolster its operational capacity, having signed a Purchase Agreement with De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited (De Havilland Canada) for a refurbished Dash 8-400. The transaction will see the regional carrier take delivery of its fourth unit of the popular turboprop later this year.
The decision to add another Dash 8-400 underscores the aircraft’s reputation for unmatched operational flexibility. Engineered to perform reliably in diverse and demanding conditions, the Dash 8-400 offers a unique blend of speed and fuel efficiency. For Asman Airlines, this translates to the ability to open new routes and maintain consistent schedules, ensuring dependable regional air service.
“This order is a testament to the Dash 8-400’s proven capabilities,” said Ryan DeBrusk, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at De Havilland Canada. “It is an aircraft built to handle real-world challenges while delivering tangible economic benefits. We are thrilled to provide Asman Airlines with an asset that will enhance their network reliability and support their growth trajectory with robust performance and passenger appeal.”
Prior to delivery, the aircraft will undergo a comprehensive refurbishment, ensuring it is configured to meet Asman’s precise operational standards. Passengers can expect the cabin comfort and signature reliability that define the Dash 8 experience. The aircraft is on track to join the airline’s expanding fleet before the end of the year.
