Collins Aerospace, a key business of RTX , has solidified its longstanding partnership with Singapore Airlines (SIA) by signing a significant extension to its FlightSense® services agreement. This new contract, which adds five years to the existing relationship, will now encompass a total of 27 Boeing 777 aircraft within the SIA fleet, including its five Boeing 777F freighters.

The extension builds upon a foundational partnership that began in 2008, highlighting Collins’ proven capability to deliver reliable and cost-effective maintenance support. The agreement is specifically designed to bolster the operational efficiency of SIA’s extensive Boeing 777 operations, one of the cornerstone fleets for the globally renowned carrier.

“We are honored to continue our deep-rooted partnership with Singapore Airlines, a relationship built on a consistent foundation of trust, innovation, and unwavering reliability,” said Ryan Hudson, Vice President of Aftermarket for Collins Aerospace’s Power & Controls unit. “This extension is a testament to our commitment to evolving our service solutions. We focus on enhancing our customers’ operational performance with tailored support that adapts to the dynamic needs of the aviation industry.”

At the core of this continued collaboration is the FlightSense program, a comprehensive full-lifecycle maintenance support solution. Unlike a one-size-fits-all offering, FlightSense is meticulously tailored to meet the specific operational requirements of each airline partner. The program’s strength lies in its integration of Collins’ advanced Ascentia® software platform, which provides sophisticated prognostics and health management (PHM) capabilities. This technology enables predictive maintenance insights, allowing for customizable support levels that help optimize aircraft availability, streamline maintenance planning, and control long-term operating costs.

For Singapore Airlines, this means continued access to a dedicated support framework that prioritizes the health of critical systems across its Boeing 777 fleet. The inclusion of the 777F freighters underscores the program’s flexibility in supporting both passenger and cargo operations with the same high standard of excellence. This strategic extension ensures that Collins Aerospace will remain a pivotal partner for SIA, contributing directly to the airline’s mission of maintaining exceptional reliability and efficiency across its global network.
