Exolaunch is preparing to deploy 57 customer satellites on SpaceX’s Transporter-16 rideshare mission aboard a Falcon 9 rocket, launching no earlier than March 2026. This flight marks a significant milestone for the company: the 25th time its hardware has flown on a Falcon 9. Since the Transporter program’s inception in 2020, Exolaunch has been a constant presence, having manifested and deployed satellites on every mission under a multi-year agreement with SpaceX.
The upcoming mission exemplifies the company’s managed launch services, which handle the technical, logistical, and regulatory complexities of reaching orbit. This allows customers—numbering more than 25 from the U.S., U.K., Bulgaria, France, South Korea, and other nations—to concentrate on their spacecraft and operations. For Transporter-16, Exolaunch is employing its suite of flight-proven deployment technologies to ensure the successful release of all 57 satellites. Integration activities have been completed at the company’s Berlin headquarters and facilities worldwide, with the final campaign now underway at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California.
“Exolaunch’s accelerating scale matches the surging global demand for reliable orbital access,” said Jeanne Allarie, Chief Investor Relations Officer. “In 2026 alone, we plan to deliver several hundred satellites across more than 20 missions. Our role is to provide continuity and certainty in the launch market, and our long-standing collaboration with SpaceX is fundamental to this effort.”
With over 670 satellites deployed to date, the company’s expertise is built on a decade of managing large-scale launch campaigns. Its comprehensive services include launch program planning, capacity procurement, satellite integration, environmental testing, and global logistics.
Looking beyond Transporter-16, Exolaunch is positioning itself at the center of the expanding global launch infrastructure through strategic partnerships with both emerging and established launch providers. As a German company with a global footprint, Exolaunch also contributes to Europe’s strategic space ambitions, aligning with recent major investments like Germany’s €35 billion commitment to strengthen the continent’s space and defense ecosystem.
“Our customers are moving faster and building more ambitious missions,” added Kier Fortier, Chief Revenue Officer. “By expanding our portfolio of deployment technologies and launch vehicle options, we provide the flexibility satellite operators need to scale from initial demonstrations to full constellation rollouts with confidence.”
