Fokker Services Group (FSG) has entered into a comprehensive, nose-to-tail component support agreement with Falcon Aviation Services, a prominent operator based in Abu Dhabi. The deal, formalized at the MRO Middle East event in Dubai, covers the carrier’s fleet of two De Havilland Canada DHC-8 Q300 aircraft.

Under the terms of the agreement, FSG will leverage its established Abacus component support program to guarantee the availability of essential parts and provide repair services. The scope of the contract is extensive, encompassing all major airframe systems, including rotables, propellers, and brakes, all managed under a flight-hour-based model designed to offer predictable operational costs.

For Falcon Aviation, this collaboration is a strategic move to bolster the reliability and efficiency of its fixed-wing division. A key feature of the partnership is the development of a bespoke preventive maintenance program. Tailored specifically to the challenges of Falcon’s operating environment and unique mission profiles, this proactive strategy is engineered to minimize unexpected maintenance events and maximize the availability of the aircraft for service.

Falcon Aviation brings deep operational knowledge of demanding regional conditions to the table. The partnership underscores its strategy of aligning with established global support providers to enhance fleet performance, maintain rigorous safety standards, and achieve tighter cost control.

FSG, in turn, brings decades of specialized experience with Dash-8 Classic aircraft. The company has a long history of managing component pools and executing power-by-the-hour programs, combining deep technical knowledge with a practical understanding of the nuances involved in regional aircraft operations. This agreement reflects FSG’s ongoing commitment to delivering long-term, flexible support solutions that adapt to specific operator requirements.

Leadership from both companies expressed strong confidence in the partnership’s potential. Niels Elshof, Sales Manager at Fokker Services Group, highlighted the focus on reliability. “We are proud to support Falcon Aviation Services with a component support solution focused on reliability and operational continuity,” Elshof stated. “By combining guaranteed availability with a maintenance program adapted to Falcon’s operating conditions, we support stable operations and predictable costs. We recognize the demanding operational environment in which Falcon operates and it is our honor to be part of this winning team.”

Capt. Ramandeep Oberoi, CEO of Falcon Aviation Services, echoed these sentiments, emphasizing the alignment with his company’s core values. “At Falcon Aviation Services, excellence and safety are fundamental to everything we do,” said Oberoi. “This partnership with Fokker strengthens our maintenance framework and engineering support, reinforcing our commitment to safe, reliable, and predictable fleet operations.”
