Robin Radar Systems has made its IRIS 3D CUAS radar available for integration within DroneShield’s advanced aerial defense ecosystem, combining high-performance detection with a proven counter-drone platform.

DroneShield takes an ecosystem-first approach, working with third-party sensor providers to enable operators to select sensing technology based on their environment, threat profile, and defense goals. The company’s systems detect, track, identify, and mitigate unauthorized UAVs.

IRIS brings long-range 3D tracking, micro-Doppler analysis, and deep-learning algorithms to the partnership, delivering reliable drone detection with a low false alarm rate. The radar deploys in less than 15 minutes and offers seamless integration through its interoperable API, with flexible mounting options for buildings, tripods, and vehicles.

“Robin’s technology is designed to deliver cutting-edge drone detection, providing 360° situational awareness while integrating seamlessly into security architectures,” said Marcel Verdonk, CCO of Robin Radar Systems. “This partnership allows us to combine our market-leading radar with DroneShield’s platform.”

Within DroneShield’s ecosystem, IRIS will integrate with DroneSentry-C2, a command-and-control platform that merges sensor inputs into a consolidated operational picture, reducing ambiguity and enabling better-informed decisions.

Angus Bean, Chief Product Officer at DroneShield, noted: “By expanding our sensor marketplace, we give customers more freedom to design their airspace security architecture.”

The partnership advances a shared mission to secure skies worldwide through collaborative, reliable technologies that protect critical infrastructure and communities.
