by BDR Staff

Rocket Lab has once again delivered for long-time partner Synspective, successfully launching the company’s eighth StriX satellite. The “Eight Days A Week” mission took place on March 21st from Rocket Lab’s New Zealand launch site, marking the 84th flight for the Electron rocket.

The mission placed a synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite into a 573km orbit, adding to Synspective’s growing constellation. True to its commitment to customer-specific solutions, Rocket Lab designed a custom fairing for the payload, showcasing its ability to tailor missions beyond standard launch services.

This latest success extends an unbroken record of 100% mission success for the Japanese constellation operator. The strong partnership has recently grown to include 19 more dedicated launches, bringing the total to 27 Electron missions scheduled before 2028. Synspective continues to rely on Electron for its precision, reliability, and responsive launch schedule—qualities that have made Rocket Lab the go-to provider for constellation deployment.
