Strengthening a trusted 40-year relationship, VNH has placed an order for three Airbus H225 helicopters via its subsidiaries VNH South and VNH North. The aircraft will support continued offshore energy growth and replace older models. “The H225 has proven itself time and again across our offshore missions,” stated VNH CEO Kieu Dang Hung, highlighting the helicopter’s role as the future fleet backbone, modernizing operations while expanding capacity and mission flexibility. Airbus Helicopters CEO Matthieu Louvot said the decision to center VNH’s future around the H225 confirms its reliability and performance in demanding offshore environments. The new H225s will complement VNH’s existing Super Puma and H155 helicopters, deployed for energy transport, utility missions, search and rescue, and general transport. As the latest Super Puma family member, the H225 excels in challenging conditions with superior range, payload, advanced avionics, and autopilot systems that reduce pilot workload. More than 360 H225s and H225Ms are in service worldwide, accumulating over one million flight hours. Military operators include Brazil, France, Hungary, Indonesia, Iraq, Kuwait, Malaysia, Mexico, the Netherlands, Singapore, and Thailand.
