Volatus Aerospace has secured a contract with a NATO defence organization to provide specialized remotely piloted aircraft system (RPAS) training for missions in remote and harsh environments. The award, won through a competitive procurement process, underscores the company’s evolution from product supplier to full-spectrum capability provider within allied defence programs.

The engagement will equip operators with the skills to deploy uncrewed systems across a range of defence and security scenarios, including surveillance, patrol, emergency response, search-and-rescue, and reconnaissance. Training will integrate theoretical instruction with live-flight exercises, emphasizing operational safety, regulatory compliance, and mission effectiveness under physically demanding conditions.

While the contract value remains confidential, Volatus confirmed that fulfillment is expected within fiscal year 2026 and that margins are projected to align with historical performance.

“This award highlights Volatus’ ability to support defence customers across the entire drone ecosystem,” said Glen Lynch, CEO of Volatus Aerospace. “It reflects continued demand for our expertise in preparing operators to use uncrewed systems in demanding, real-world environments.”

The contract signals growing recognition of Volatus as an end-to-end aerospace and defence partner capable of delivering more than discrete products or point solutions. By combining applied training, operational intelligence, and dual-use platform expertise, the company is positioning itself at the intersection of emerging defence requirements and next-generation technology deployment.

The announcement arrives amid accelerating demand from NATO-aligned governments seeking to integrate uncrewed systems into conventional force structures. Volatus reports increased engagement across defence, security, and public sector customers, and expects to announce further developments as programs mature.

Volatus Aerospace continues to expand its international footprint in dual-use aerospace, bridging commercial innovation and defence application. The company’s portfolio includes aerial intelligence, mission-critical services, and advanced platform integration for government and military clients.

With this contract, Volatus reinforces its role within the allied defence supply chain and advances its broader strategy of becoming a preferred partner for turnkey uncrewed systems capabilities in high-stakes environments.

Further updates are expected as training programs commence and additional contracts progress.
